PAPER OR CANVAS?
Canvas prints are most 'true' to my original artwork as they're printed on the same material that I paint on.
The canvas contains no acids, brightening agents or other nasties, meaning that it's certified archival and wont fade overtime. It's also super thick (378gsm) and designed to be resistant to light scuffs.
Unframed canvas prints are shipped rolled and will require stretching and framing before they can be hung. Framed canvas prints arrive in a box and are ready to hang.
Paper prints are created using cotton rag, a type of thick (310gsm) paper made entirely from cotton. They're also acid and brightening agent free and are therefore certified archival.
The finish of a paper print is smooth and matte. The paper is much more delicate than canvas and should never be touched or scuffed. Framing behind glass (preferably art glass to minimise reflections) is a must.
Paper prints come with a small white border where they are numbered and signed for a chic look!
